Executive Officers and Managers

Gary V. Hoyer, President, Chief Executive Officer and one of our managers. Prior to co-founding the Company, Mr. Hoyer co-founded Sterling Eagle Mortgage Investment Corporation in June 2002 and WarehouseOne in August 1998, and served as a principal of both companies. He is primarily responsible for developing and structuring the asset-based financing programs through which the Company raises its capital, marketing to prospective clients and various aspects of operation, including portfolio performance. Prior to such service, in March 1993, Mr. Hoyer co-founded and served as a principal of PrinCap Mortgage Warehouse, Inc. PrinCap was one of the first asset-based independent residential mortgage warehouse lenders. Its assets were successfully sold to a major financial institution in late 1997. Mr. Hoyer was responsible for Princap’s finance structure, review of portfolio performance, personnel and cash management.

Previously, Mr. Hoyer was a Managing Director of AOG Capital Markets, a Hong Kong-based merchant banking firm operating a mortgage purchase conduit and providing related services to mortgage originator clients. Prior thereto, Mr. Hoyer was a senior associate at Prudential Securities, Inc., where he provided advisory services to mortgage originators and structured mortgage-backed securities. He also served as a consultant for First Boston and Merrill Lynch, assisting both firms with the structuring of collateralized mortgage obligations and analytic systems development. Prior to that time, Mr. Hoyer was a staff accountant and senior consultant for Deloitte, Haskins & Sells (now Deloitte & Touche) in the Financial Services Group. Mr. Hoyer attended Syracuse University with a major in accounting and completed studies in business administration in conjunction with the Wharton Graduate Division of the University of Pennsylvania.


G. Mark Loreto , Chairman of the Board, Chief Operating Officer and one of our managers. Prior to co-founding the Company, Mr. Loreto co-founded Sterling Eagle Mortgage Investment Corporation in June 2002 and WarehouseOne in August 1998, and served as a principal of both companies. He is responsible for funding relationships, negotiating and structuring joint ventures, various aspects of operations and serves as secretary and general counsel. Prior to such service, in March 1993 Mr. Loreto co-founded and served as a principal of PrinCap. Mr. Loreto was a principal and director at PrinCap and was responsible for documenting and monitoring client and funding source relationships, credit analysis and review of clients, financial analysis of funding source proposals, personnel, and cash management. He also served as corporate secretary.

Previously, Mr. Loreto was the executive vice president of ORIX Realty Corporation, a commercial real estate subsidiary of Japan’s largest finance company. Before joining ORIX, Mr. Loreto was also a senior associate of Morgan Stanley Realty Incorporated, practiced corporate and real estate law with the law firms of Davis, Polk & Wardwell and Reid and Priest, respectively, and was a commercial bank lending officer of Morgan Guaranty Trust Company. He received a BA degree in Chemistry from The Johns Hopkins University, an MBA degree in Finance from the Wharton Graduate Division of the University of Pennsylvania and a Juris Doctor degree from New York Law School. He is admitted to the bars of the States of New York and New Jersey, to various U.S. District Courts and to the Supreme Court of the United States.
